5 Senses

Hi Guys! Do you know what our 5 senses are? 

1. TOUCH

2. HEAR

3. TASTE

4. SMELL

5. SEE

When do we use our senses? 

Today we are going to focus on the first 2 senses! Theres going to be a mystery box in class with different items inside. Using your best sense of touch and English vocabulary, guess whats inside the box! But remember NO peeking!

You must start each phrase with, "It feels like a..."

Next for our sense of hearing, you will have to guess what each noise is without seeing the video! 

For this sense you must write, "It sounds like a..."

Hi Buddies!

Today we will go over the weather and the seasons. What is the weather like today? 

Do you prefer sunny weather or colder weather? 

Also, we will play a game talking about our dream vacation! 

After learning some vocabulary and reading the Four Seasons book we will talk about our FAVOURITE time of the year and why!

Hello Buddies, coming up this month is Valentines Day!  Today we will learn about the tradition of Saint Valentine, play a game using the vocabulary and at the end we will make our own Valentines Day cards for our loved ones in English!

Today we will be learning about the Chinese New Year which occurs in February. This year is the year of the Monkey. We will be learning about the Chinese tradition by each reading a part of a story. We will learn all of the animals in the Chinese New Year and what animal YOU are!

Hi Guys!

Today we are going to continue our vocabulary on animals and introduce some fruits aswell. We will read Handas Surprise, a fun story about a young girl and the animals she meets along the way. We will answer some questions regarding the story and end the activity by making our own animal masks! :)

Hey Buddies!

Today we will be learning about the Months of the year! 

What month are we in right now? :)

We will look at the English calendar and learn each Month as well as the order. Next we will work in pairs to display the order of the months. 

After singing and learning the "Months March" song we will end by taking turns reading "Silly Willy's Months!"
